Participants will “re-embrace” automaticity, a primary goal of traditional language learning approaches which emphasize the oral repetition of model phrases and sentences, by experiencing how automaticity can enhance students' fluency and intelligibility. Participants will engage in practice activities with sample field-specific texts and recordings and learn to provide meaningful feedback.
