This hands-on presentation guides participants through lesson designs regarding American idioms. Research suggests that sequential, contextualized activities are effective in promoting comprehension in L2 learners. Participants will develop criteria for idiom selection for contextualized activities that form lessons with the aim of improving L2 learner’s communicative usage of them.
