A Holistic Framework for Evaluating Intercultural Communicative Competence in Business English Textbooks
English for Specific Business Purposes (ESBP) is a continuously maturing sub-field of ESP. In an effort to illuminate where and how current ESBP pedagogy addresses Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC) in BE contexts, this presentation will explicate a preliminary holistic framework for analyzing the intercultural components found in recent BE textbooks.
